Remember, by progressive we mean to progress beyond, to go beyond what Scripture teaches. We’re looking at the belief that this life matters more than the afterlife. It says the afterlife, if it is real, will take care of itself if we spend all our effort fighting injustice and alleviating suffering. That this is the Christian’s highest call. What should a Christian believe? What does the Bible say?
